How we handle your data

Transparency is part of security. Here you can read which personal data we process and why.

This privacy policy follows the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP). It must be adapted to the services actually used and reviewed legally before publication.

1. Controller

The controller for the processing of personal data in connection with this website is:

Helvetic-Stack Kollektivgesellschaft (KLG)
trading under the Security-Stack brand
Im Schachenhof 31a
8906 Bonstetten
Email: info@security-stack.ch

2. Principles

We process personal data in good faith and in line with the principles of proportionality and purpose limitation. We only collect data we actually need for the stated purposes and retain it only for as long as necessary.

3. Data we process

3.1 Server log files

When you visit this website, technical data is logged, in particular the shortened IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the browser used and the operating system. This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website and the defence against attacks.

3.2 Contact enquiries

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, company, email address, phone number, subject and message) in order to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible collaboration.

The contact form on this website does not transmit data to our servers; it opens your local email client with a prepared message. Sending therefore takes place via your own email provider.

3.3 Data from engagements

In the context of security assessments and managed security services we may gain access to technical data belonging to our customers, such as system configurations, log data or user accounts. This processing takes place exclusively within the respective engagement and is governed by contract.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies for tracking or marketing purposes and does not embed third-party analytics services. Fonts are served from our own server as well. Visiting this website therefore transmits no data to third parties.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We do not pass personal data on to third parties unless this is necessary to provide our services, you have consented, or we are legally obliged to do so. Service providers we use – for example for hosting, are contractually bound to confidentiality.

6. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as the processing purpose, statutory retention obligations or the enforcement of claims require. Afterwards the data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. This website is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS.

8. Your rights

Within the scope of applicable law you have the right to information about the personal data we process as well as the right to have it corrected, deleted or handed over. You may also object to processing. Please contact info@security-stack.ch. We may request proof of your identity.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

9. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
